How Our Network Works
Talk to a provider
Who You Talk To
You talk to two parties. First, Ruralbattery Tree Service, which takes your details and routes the request. Second, an independent local tree removal provider, who assesses the job and quotes it.
Ruralbattery Tree Service does not do the tree work. The provider you speak with owns the estimate, the schedule and the job itself.
What Happens on the Call
Keep it short. You describe the problem, and the request goes to a provider who handles that kind of work.
Have these details ready:
- Where the tree is: front yard, back yard, near a house, fence or power line.
- What is wrong: dead, leaning, split, storm-damaged or simply in the way.
- Rough size, if you can judge it.
- Whether anything is blocked, such as a driveway or door.
- Whether you also want the stump ground out.
Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing varies, so ask directly.
What to Ask a Provider
Five questions cover most of it:
- Is the quote written, and what does it include?
- Does the price cover hauling away logs and branches?
- Are you insured, and can I see proof?
- How will you protect the lawn, roof and fences?
- Is stump grinding included or priced separately?
Typical U.S. tree removal costs range widely by size, access and hazards. A written quote from the provider is the only number that counts.
You Are in Control
A referral does not commit you to anything. You can compare quotes, ask for another opinion, or decline. There is no obligation.
If the work involves storm damage, take photos before anything moves. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, and some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy for details.
